I remember watching as my friend’s dog began to exhibit aggressive behavior, growling and barking at random objects. I was initially hesitant to help and just watched passively, but I knew something had to be done. I immediately grabbed the phone, called the dog’s owner, and asked her to drop everything and make the dog sit. I told her that I was afraid the dog was going to bite the dog.
She called back and said he was fine, but that I’d better get the dog to the vet right away. I wasn’t sure I agreed with her, but I had to do something. The dog was acting like he was having a great time, and I needed to calm him down. I got the dog to the vet and had him spayed, which I was told was the best course of action.
I hope that you have a great life my friend, and that you enjoy reading my blog. If you would like to help support my work at Patreon, please consider contributing a dollar a month to my Patreon account. You will also find me on Facebook and twitter. I often add links to my blog posts in the comments to those sites. If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me an email at bruce@bruceharwood.com.
I like to keep the site clean, so I’m not sure if anyone would want to pay me to clean up their comments. My goal at the moment is to make sure comments are only about one article a month, and to keep the site as uncluttered as possible.
I’ve also recently turned down a few offers to join Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. For the most part these are just my opinions, and I don’t always agree with their policies, but I don’t want to be the guy who has to deal with all that.
Ive been hesitant to join a bunch of social networks because I don’t want to be the guy that gets banned from all of them. But I do like the idea of having a place to vent, so its good to see that some of my thoughts are already being put out somewhere.
I think Facebook and Twitter are good for keeping up with what your friends are doing, and Pinterest can be a good way to keep up with the things you care about.
I don’t have any specific plans to join any of these sites, but I do see how they could prove useful in some capacity. Pinterest is a good example of a site where you can buy things and display them on your own page. One of my friends is kind of a pinning monster, and so I think a Pinterest site that lets you display pictures of your own stuff could be really useful.
I’m not sure I need to tell you that. I’m sure there’s a lot of people here who are so incredibly organized that they can probably think of a way to display their own stuff on Pinterest. And if they do, here’s what they might do. They might create a page called “My Photo Page.” In this page, they could list all the photos that they have.
This is the sort of thing that could be useful and be a good way to find and organize yourself. It would be a simple thing to say, “Oh, I have this really cool photo of my son’s first birthday party.” But then, because that’s something that is interesting and worthy of display, someone could decide to put that photo on their My Photo Page.
