I love the idea of the law of homologous series. It is a very simple idea that can help us when we are stuck in a situation and it can help us out by making our experience easier to cope with.
This law basically states that the more similar the things in a series, the more likely it is that they will be related in time and space. If you’ve ever been stuck in a crowded car, it would probably seem like you were always stuck in a car with some random guy in it. Now imagine if that guy was you, stuck in an elevator. That would be crazy.
It’s a bit like that, but it works in reverse. As more and more similarities are found between things, the chances of them being related increase and the more similar they will be, the more likely the similarity will be related to the things themselves.
The law of homologous series is the idea that all things that happen in the same time and space are related. If I was stuck in an elevator with a guy who looks exactly like me, and I heard a loud crash, that would probably be related to that person coming into the elevator. It would also probably be related to the person outside the elevator, who then started talking to me.
The law of homologous series doesn’t mean anything to me personally, but it’s a very important thing to know about our laws of homology. If we’re looking for a way to apply homology to things like the way you’re doing your photos, the first thing that should be on your list is to find out how many images you have and how many images you’ve taken in a single game.
