What are the laws on growing marijuana in Michigan?

Michigan Medical Marijuana Act The Board of Pharmacy shall promulgate rules to secure the safety and efficacy of marihuana for medical use, including: (i) a statement of standards and specifications for marihuana intended for human consumption. In promulgating the standards and specifications, which shall be updated annually, the Board shall consider (A) the marihuana available in interstate commerce and (B) scientific research concerning marihuana’s potential for use for medical treatment.
